Do you have a film or video that the church could use with a sermon? Sermonspice.com would love to see it. If approved, your creation will be given an international stage and the opportunity to help spread God's truths around the world.

We are looking for video illustrations, intros, teasers, worship backgrounds and loops, and pre-service countdowns. We request films of five minutes or less in length that contain decent production, acting and scripting content. The subject matter should contain Biblical information, a visual illustration, or the presentation of a relevant topic for Christian oriented audiences. Any videos portraying anti-Biblical themes will not be considered. Filmmakers must be the sole owner and controlling party of copyrights for all content contained within submitted videos. 2. NON-EXCLUSIVE
Sermonspice offers a 30% royalty rate to filmmakers who sign on non-exclusively. Exclusivity with Sermonspice indicates that the filmmaker will be selling his/her product as a downloadable item on Sermonspice.com only, and not any third party website.

Before Sermonspice.com, there was NO marketplace for online sermon illustration and worship videos. From the beginning, our desire was to provide the highest quality and variety of videos for our pastors, while accommodating our filmmakers as well. It was imperative that we met both the presenter and the producer's needs to sustain and grow the business.

We projected that 50% would be the maximum royalty we could pay, and still develop the various functions of Sermonspice.com such as marketing, tech-support, development etc. This rate gave a significant amount back to our filmmakers. Many in the business world said that 50% was too high. Other products such as books, music, etc. set the royalty rate in the 15% range (in fact, in most markets 15% is high). But we felt sure that the standard rate was not enough to sustain and encourage our filmmakers. We started at an unheard of 50%. Our desire was that substantial filmmaker profits would motivate the creation of better videos for pastors.

This dream has now become the Sermonspice reality. Once the market began to grow, other distribution websites emerged, and they were all obliged to match Sermonspice's 50% royalty rate to attract filmmakers. Naturally wanting to promote their films on other websites, filmmakers began to expand in addition to Sermonspice.com. This required us to adjust our agreement to a still generous 30% rate, and a 55% rate to compensate our exclusive partners.

Sermonspice.com is no longer the only marketplace for online church media. But regardless of your royalty rate, we will always strive to be the best distributor possible in order to earn your loyalty and allegiance. Sermonspice.com is nothing without you, the filmmaker. We continue to seek new and improved ways to encourage and empower the creation of films.
